Established in the 1970's as a modest native Australian wildlife park, Symbio has transformed into a multi-award-winning institution, renowned for its diverse collection of native and exotic animals. Under Matt's leadership, the park has not only expanded its exhibits but also intensified its commitment to conservation, establishing breeding programs for vulnerable species such as the Bellinger River snapping turtles and Stuttering frogs. In recognition of its excellence, Symbio Wildlife Park was honoured at the 2024 NSW Tourism Awards. Matt will delve into the challenges and milestones that have shaped Symbio's journey, offering a unique perspective on wildlife conservation and sustainable practices.
